Door County!

We're in Door County enjoying the sights! We stopped at Seaquist Market to pick up some food for a picnic at Newport state park.

More fun at Newport before we went on a hiking trail. We took a picture here that I have to get from Gramma Carol. We are all in it and I'd like to make it a tradition to take a picture in the same spot next year!

We went to Plum Loco Animal Farm and fed all the horses and sheep and donkeys!

Luke almost drove off in this tractor! I mean we let him drive it around the animal pens and all - you should've seen the look on that big sheep's face when he bulldozed right thru their front door! Vroom-vroom!

Luke Wins the GOLD!

If you haven't read the results yet on CNN - SPOILER ALERT! - Luke won the gold medal in freestyle diaper loading! It was really no competition. Luke had the lead from the start. We are so proud of him! We're been watching a lot of the Olympics - its hard to believe by the time the next Olympics comes around - Luke will be almost starting school! crazy.

I made Luke's little outfit with the Gold Medal and was all excited to do his photo shoot. In the past I would dress him up, set him on the floor and he'd stay there. But I very quickly realized that this shoot would be much more difficult because he is moving around all over the place! My vision of him sitting still in front of the awesome Olympics poster (Thanks Jimbo!) was not going to happen. But we made it work!

Winning a gold medal can make you very tired - time for cuddles.

We took a walk to the lake so Luke could put his feet in the water - he loves the water. So much fun to hear him giggle.
