Luke meets the President!

President Obama was so proud of Luke eating solids that he framed his picture!! We were very honored. Go Luke!!

My First Solid Foods!

I couldn't believe it when the doctor told me that we can start Luke on solid foods. I felt like he grew up overnight! So Wednesday we pulled out the high chair and got some rice cereal and fed him for the first time. It's friday now and I think he has figured out how to swallow, but at first, it seemed like the food was going everywhere but in his mouth! So its rice cereal for 2 weeks, and then we start fruits and veggies. I'm a nutball and I am going to try to make his food - we'll see how it goes!

Luke-a-saurus Rex!

We bought Luke this super awesome dino hat that transforms him into Luke-a-saurus Rex.

We thought at first it might be a little too big for him, but we tried it out and put a few blankets in to support him. He had a fun time exploring all the bells and whistles.
